- 1 homemade pie crust or ready-made single crust.
- ¾ cup packed frozen whole spinach thawed and squeezed
- ¼ cup diced onion
- ¾ cup small ham cubes
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 large eggs
- 1 2/3 cup half & half
- 1 1/4 cup grated Swiss cheese
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
Preheat oven to 400°F. Place the pie crust on a baking sheet.
Sauté diced onion and ham cubes in butter over medium heat until onions are translucent.
In a large bowl, whisk eggs, half & half, salt, pepper, garlic powder and smoked paprika. Stir in Swiss cheese, spinach, and the sautéed onion and ham.
Pour the mixture into the pie crust, spreading evenly.
Bake for 60 minutes, or until golden brown and set. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
